Supply and Value Chain Management Logistics

Metrica, Inc. has demonstrated strength and experience in supply and value chain management services since 1993. Metrica supports logistics operations in the Department of Defense to include DMLSS*, DBSS*, and TAMMIS*. Metrica offers supply and value chain management services throughout the world.

  • Planning – Metrica examines the business process to be supported and develops a comprehensive plan for the automated logistics system.
  • Designing – Logistics Systems Analysts will utilize current design technology to create the technical support design.
  • Developing – Design development begins by rapidly producing a basic prototype. Complexities are then added to meet or exceed the client’s requirements and specifications.
  • Testing – Occurring simultaneously with system development, Metrica Analysts will assist the client in testing each functionality and process until the Client’s requirements are fully satisfied.
  • Deployment – When the system is deployed, Metrica’s customized deployment plan goes into affect. This plan includes analysis of staffing and organization of the site, supporting infrastructure (computers, networks, data communications, etc.) and business schedule. Activities and milestones are established to ensure smooth operation. Metrica can even develop an automated conversion process when replacing an existing system.
  • Training – Metrica offers a full range of logistics systems training, which can include system administration, and individualized training for each user and each job task. Each user receives a “Desk Side User’s Guide” specifically tailored to functions they perform, and written in “non-systems” language, using terminology familiar to the user. Follow-on/sustainment training is also available.
  • Technical Support – Metrica offers technical support to assist users with questions on system administration, user operation, automated interfaces, hardware issues, technical issues, and system security.
