This file contains a subset of the summary data vectors extracted from the Task Factor file. While the Task Factor file has all data stored in vector form within a given "factor", the FACSET file has the extracted data stored both as a factor vector and as a task-by-task vector across all selected factors. This storage format yields tremendous processing efficiencies for both reporting and computing new factors.
