Metrica, Inc. was incorporated as a minority, woman-owned business in 1984. In 1986, the company became certified by the Small Business Administration to participate in the SBA 8(a) program and won it's first 8(a) contract that same year. Metrica was awarded its first contract with the Department of Defense (DoD) 1988. Numerous contracts have followed including a GSA governmentwide support contract and an international support services contract, both awarded in 1991. In 1995, Metrica graduated from the 8(a) program.
